School Meal Information
Pūʻōhala School participates in the United States Department of Agriculture Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program, which enables schools that predominantly serve low-income children to offer free, nutritious school meals to all students through the Natioal School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program without collecting school meal applications and regardless of household income.
Breakfast is prepared for Pūʻōhala School students and is served from 7:10 am - 7:40 am. Breakfast must be consumed in the cafeteria. Payments for parents wishing to purchase an adult breakfast are accepted at the front office. The National School Lunch Program is a federally assisted meal program in public schools that provides a nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free breakfast and lunch to qualified students.
